Train, manage and mentor a team of over 16 personnel in all aspects of public affairs while serving as a planner, organizer, and strategic communications advisor for higher executives. Review and edit communications products such as news articles, captions, photographs, videos, and graphics as a production team lead, which has resulted in 100+ digital and social media publications by U.S. Army entities. Create communications products such as news articles, press releases, captions, photographs, videos, training materials, pamphlets, and websites, which has resulted in 10+ U.S. Army-published products. Assist with press relations and have hosted representatives from numerous outlets including the New York Times, the Atlantic, Military Times, Task & Purpose, and Stars and Stripes on more than 10 occasions. Supervised and trained ten personnel in the areas of math, weapons, military vehicle operations and maintenance, and provided guidance to ensure their safety and survival while in combat situations. Led an organization family readiness program for a group of over 100 personnel; planned and executed numerous events that built cohesion and common understanding amongst the organization and family members. Utilized mental agility and sound judgment to help the organization solve complex problems and improve efficiency. Showed strong devotion to the U.S. Army Sexual Harassment and Assault Response Program and was recommended by Deputy Director to serve as the victim advocate for approximately 5,000 personnel. Oversaw inventory of hundreds of pieces of military equipment, valued at $100 million.
